This forum is intended for constructive discussion of the project initiated by Tom Pepper at FaithfulBuddhist.com. It was created by David Watson after Tom announced he would be discontinuing his activities there.
The premise of this forum is that Tom's project is valuable but, because it seeks to synthesize a variety of Buddhist and non-Buddhist materials in a way that challenges currently hegemonic ideology, not easy to understand or accept. Acceptance is not a prerequisite for participating here, but contributions not reflecting a desire to understand may be considered unwelcome.
Update September 2015: Soon after its creation, this forum became superfluous because another, better forum was created by someone else. It became even more superfluous in January of 2015, when Tom resumed his activities at FaithfulBuddhist.com. But the better forum did not last, and Tom has now again discontinued his work at The Faithful Buddhist, so it seems the superfluity of this project may be at an end. If anyone knows of another site at which discussion of Tom's work is going on, please post information about it here.
